Rachel will be on a residency in Myanmar in the next few weeks, then teach a two-part workshop and perform in Vietnam through Emily Navarra's "The Movement Kitchen" in Ho Chi Minh City.
The first workshop will be an introduction to the principles of Ruth Zaporah's Action Theater. The second, "Objectify," will explore how to effectively use objects in choreography - Racoco's specialty!

Racoco participates in its third Bushwick Community Day! This time Rachel Cohen, Stephanie Beck, and Masumi Kishimoto bring their giant rolls of paper to create a participatory improvisation/moving sculpture with kids of all ages! Come join the fold between 12 and 2...look for "The Paper Chase Project."
Arts in Bushwick is hosting an amazing line up of kids activities and performances by musicians, artists, and poets. Visit local artists in our art market and participate in performance art with your neighbors!
Comedy in Dance Festival at Triskelion Arts

Rachel performs "Manifest," a short, absurdist duet with a roll of paper that unpacks the notion of Manifest Destiny.

The whole festival runs April 7-10 and features a variety of performers, each combining "dance" and "comedy" in a unique way.
