Join us at SILENT BARN for Arts in Bushwick's 4th Annual Community Day on Sunday, June 5, 12-4PM.

Racoco participates in its third Bushwick Community Day! This time Rachel Cohen, Stephanie Beck, and Masumi Kishimoto bring their giant rolls of paper to create a participatory improvisation/moving sculpture with kids of all ages! Come join the fold between 12 and 2...look for "The Paper Chase Project."

Arts in Bushwick is hosting an amazing line up of kids activities and performances by musicians, artists, and poets. Visit local artists in our art market and participate in performance art with your neighbors!

Rachel performs "Manifest," a short, absurdist duet with a roll of paper that unpacks the notion of Manifest Destiny.

Also on the April 9 program: Billy Schultz; LMnO3; Jeff & Buttons Dance Away the Blues; Amanda Hameline Dance; Thomas Gibbons; The Cherryheads & Cassie Tunick; Cari Ann Shim Sham; Krissy Harris and Sarah Lass

The whole festival runs April 7-10 and features a variety of performers, each combining "dance" and "comedy" in a unique way.
