Racoco is happy to be revisiting Rachel's home turf AND working with clay, performing at Norte Maar's 4th Annual Jay Invitational of Clay: an exhibition! Rachel, Masumi Kishimoto, and special guest Kelly Kocinski will be performing the Racoco classic "Recividistas" (an early collaboration with composer Chris Becker) on two nights in July.

Thursday night Norte Maar hosts a benefit for the Ausable River Association.

Friday night is the opening of Norte Maar's 4th Annual Jay Invitational of Clay: an exhibition featuring a local and regional selection of works in clay. The exhibition will open to the public on Friday, July 14 from 6-9pm on the grounds of the Jay House, Norte Maar's summer residence in the Adirondacks. This event coincides with the 3rd Annual Au Sable River Valley Studio Tour, July 15-16.

Once more, once more unto the breach! Rachel and Leighton and our air dancer (King H-airy, of course) make art and cotton candy as part of the Bindlestiff Open Variety Show! And, in a fortuitous coincidence, Racoco alumna Alisa Fendley will be doing her own aerial act!

Come to Dixon Place for a night of variety that will include much more than a simple song and dance. Bindlestiffs Open Stage Variety Show is a non stop variety show experience that may include The Heavy Metal Magician, Kung Fu juggling, trained rats, clown bands, aerial artists, wire walkers, sideshow performers, stripping clowns, living cartoons, physical comedy, a cougar contortionist, emerging burlesque starlets, and more. Hosted by Keith "Bindlestiff" Nelson, the show celebrates works in progress, emerging artists, and professionals trying something new, this night promises many surprises.
